Transylvanian Meat Balls

You might agree with me that no party menu is complete without meat balls. This ones, make great appetizers. They are easy to make, no fuss meat balls.

Enjoy!

1/4 tsp. black pepper
Oil, for frying

Drain and squeeze out water; place it on a cutting board and chop it fine.

Place ground beef in a large mixing bowl. Add the chopped  bread, garlic, eggs, pepper, paprika, savoury, parsley, vegeta seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix with a wooden spoon (or by hand) until well mixed.

Place about 1/4” oil in a frying pan and fry meat balls until brown, turning them once. Drain on paper towel.

  1. I am beyond thrilled I found you. My whole family is. From Transylvania, they came over in the early 30s to this country. We are having a family reunion next week of all the cousins in summer are even coming back from Europe to New Jersey and we’re doing it around Romanian Jewish food. What fun
