Vanilla Fruit Bowl

This is a simple and easy dessert to put together by combining fruits, nuts and vanilla yogurt. Makes for a light and refreshing finish to a meal.  
 

Ingredients:

1 –14 oz. can  pineapple tidbits, drained
1 – 10 oz. can  mandarin oranges, drained
1 large Royal gala apple, peeled and cubed 
1-1/2 cups green grapes
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup flaked coconut
3/4 cup  Oikos vanilla yogurt (or similar)
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1/4 cup toasted flaked coconut, for garnish
 

Directions:

In a medium bowl,  combine the pineapple tidbits, oranges, apple, grapes, marshmallows and coconut. Fold in the yogurt. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.  

Just before serving, stir in pecans. Spoon into individual bowls. Garnish bowl each with toasted coconut.
 
Yield: 8 servings.
