1 cup of freshly brewed coffee
1/4 cup hot milk
2– 3 tsp. Torani peppermint flavouring syrup*
1/2 tsp sugar, or to taste
1 candy cane
Whipping cream, (optional)
Pour hot coffee in a mug. Stir in syrup and sugar, (if using). Pour half of the hot milk into coffee. Froth the rest with an electric whisk. Spoon the foam over the top of the coffee, (or, use a dab of whipping cream instead).
Sprinkle with red and green sugar, if desired or serve with a candy cane.
Makes: 1 serving
* If you not have peppermint syrup, pour hot coffee over a peppermint tea bag and steep for one minute. Discard the tea bag.
