Marble Cream Cheese Brownies

I love this brownies!
My daughter and I were cooking and talking...( she and her family are living with us for a while)... when she asked me if I would like her to make some dessert  for the weekend. Knowing that this is one of my favorite desserts that she makes, she sugested this brownies.

If you like brownies and cheesecake, you are going to love this ones.   They are moist and creamy and just simply, delicious! But be warned,  you might not be able to stop at just one.

Ingredients:
4 oz. (120 gr.) semi-sweet chocolate
3 tbsp butter, unsalted
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp almond flavouring
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Filling:
2 tbsp butter, unsalted
8 oz. (250 gr.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp vanilla

In a small pot, melt together chocolate and butter. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale yellow in color. Add flour, baking powder, salt. Mix well. Stir in vanilla, almond flavouring, melted chocolate and pecans.
Pour half into a greased 7x11 inch pan. Set aside.
In a separate mixing bowl, beat together butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.  Add the egg, then flour and vanilla. Mix well. Pour this over the chocolate batter in the pan. Spoon the other half of chocolate batter over the cheese batter and with knife cut through batter to marbleize.

Bake at 325 F for 35-40 minutes.

Enjoy!
