Chicken Drumsticks

I love to cook but sometimes I do want to make easy things that require minimal preparation...
This is one of those recipes. Whether you cook for company or just getting supper on the table, this is an easy recipe to have handy.

4 Tbsp soy sauce
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp crushed ginger
3 Tbsp oil
1 tsp seasoning salt
1/4 cup water
12 chicken drumsticks


Prepare a marinate by mixing in a large bowl, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, oil, seasoning salt and water. Place chicken in the marinade, and stir to coat. Cover bowl and place it  in the refrigerator  for a few hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 325 F.

Place chicken legs in a 9x13 pan and pour the marinade over the chicken. Sprinkle lightly with paprika. Cover and bake for an hour, then uncovered for another 30 minutes or until done. It should be moist  with some liquid in the pan.

Serve with mashed potatoes ( as shown in the picture )or rice.

Makes: 6 servings (of 2 per person)
